Scientific reports from around the world have found that the occurrences of malignant breast lesions have gradually increased. This upward trend leads to a higher death rate. Women, over 1.2 million each year, are affected by breast malignancy; both mentally and physically. Over half a million of those women die of breast cancer in North America. This rate is at least four to five times higher than Asia’s breast cancer fatality rate.

In another research, benign tumors can stay in your body an average of twelve to six years before turning cancerous. This brings up a theory that it is not uncommon for breast cells to take a long time to change. There are pro’s and con’s for this circumstance. When women understand the importance of this information, they know that there will be plenty of time to act. With this time, they can find the appropriate solution for their case.

There are usually a couple of reasons regarding the formation of malignant breast tumors, genetics being one of the main factors. If there someone has a history of breast cancer in the family, the following generations will have a higher chance of encountering breast cancer.

Taiwan’s “EPA” Reports

Central News Agency’s “EPA” reports, that Tainan, Kaohsiung and most areas have particle concentrations (PM2.5) reaching red alert range. Even Kaohsiung renaissance’s “Purple explosion” rating reminds people to remember to wear a mask on New Year’s. Sensitive family members should avoid going out.

“Environmental Protection Agency” publishes daily air quality monitoring network in all regions of Taiwan air quality forecasting. Air pollution pointers are over 101, a red (bad) rating. A particle concentration (PM2.5) index of 7 or more is a very high concentration.

Due to poor atmospheric diffusion, Southwest areas (Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan) and Pingtung (Kaohsiung, Pingtung) have a PM2.5 concentration on lower grounds, while PM2.5 on higher grounds due to poor atmospheric diffusion.

Among them, several places have reached a PM2.5 in Kaohsiung’s “Purple explosion” rating. These places with low air quality, Tainan, Shanhua, Annan, Kaohsiung, Daliao, LinYuan, and other regions have entered the Red Alert range.

“EPA” recommends that people remember to wear masks before they leave their homes. People sensitive to poor air quality, especially elderly and those with cardiac and respiratory problems should reduce their time outdoors.
